Last Friday, I had an absolute blast presenting at the Midwest Oncology Practice Society event in Nebraska City.
We laughed, we discussed the archetypes behind a deck of cards and took a moment to get momentum!
I kicked things off with some light-hearted humor. It’s true what they say – laughter really is the shortest distance between two people. And in a room full of oncology experts, that shared chuckle was just what we needed to break the ice and get everyone in sync.
But it wasn't all jokes and giggles. We dived deep into the physiological side of things, exploring how we can harness our breath to control our body and mind. I guided everyone through some simple breathing techniques-the physiological sigh in particular.
I love showing how a few practiced deep breaths can be a game-changer in stressful situations.
We combined laughter, mindfulness, and a touch of magic to create a truly memorable experience. It was a perfect demonstration of how even in the most serious fields like oncology, taking time to breathe, laugh, and engage in joyful activities can make a world of difference.
The feedback was amazing, and I left feeling super pumped and grateful for the experience. To all my new friends at the Midwest Oncology Practice Society – thank you for a fabulous time and for being such a great crowd!
Until next time, keep laughing, keep breathing, and keep doing whatever makes you happy!
Thank you for taking the time to fill out this form. I look forward to learning more about your event and discussing how I can help make it AMAZING!
