Get Momentum by Getting in the Moment!: Reflections from an AMAZING WEEKEND!

I recently had the privilege of sharing my message of the psychology behind practicing a skill with audiences in Dewitt Nebraska, Red Cloud Nebraska, and Topeka

Kansas. My goal was to demonstrate, not just tell, how we can each "Get Momentum by Getting in the Moment!" by actively and consciously learning a skill. And what better way to do this than through the visually engaging arts of magic, mentalism, comedy, and audience participation?

The audiences were amazing, and I was so inspired by the energy and enthusiasm they brought to each event.

I started each presentation by working with the crowd and performing a series of magic and mentalism experiments, which not only entertained the audience but also highlighted the importance of staying present and focused, which is exactly what happens when you are learning a new skill!

One of the my favorite parts of my presentations was bringing audience members to the stage and working with them to demonstrate how focus over time keeps your "Inner-Critic" busy not just for the moment, but throughout the day as you are giving it work to do! It also showed the importance of keeping our inner critic busy by learning a new skill, no matter how small it may seem.

I was thrilled to see the joy and excitement on the faces of the participants as they worked on stage with me in bringing a fun shared experience. It was a great reminder that we can all find momentum by getting in the moment, no matter what our skill level is.

My presentations all over Kansas and Nebraska this weekend were a test

ament to the power of actively and consciously learning a new skill. Whether it's card shuffling, magic, juggling, or anything else, we can all find momentum by getting in the moment.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my message with such amazing audiences, and I look forward to continuing to inspire and motivate others to find their own momentum through skill-building.

Get out there and practice something-ANYTHING and realize that you have the growth mindset!
